A Pretty Stone and Five Golden Apples Walkthrough

Players will be able to start the shrine quest “A Pretty Stone and FiveGolden Apples” by speaking to Damia on the eastern edge of Korok Forest.

The cute little Korok can be found at the coordinates 0563, 2160, 0159 next to a glowing crystal twice their size.

Damia has found this pretty stone, but won’t just hand it over to Link. Preferring to have something they can eat, Damia will offer to trade the crystal in exchange forfive Golden Apples. If players already have five of them in their inventory, they can make the trade right away.

Golden Apples have a chance of spawning on any tree across Hyrule but are incredibly rare. Fortunately, across the bog in Mido Swamp, there are a couple of trees where Golden Apples will always spawn. Damia doesn’t care where the apples come from so long as they are golden.

Players should continue past Damia and the crystal along the path toward Mido Swamp. Eventually, they will come to the bottomless bog. Players will slowly sink if they attempt to walk or swim through it, and nothing will float on its surface.

However, there is a large wooden board and plenty of trees that can be chopped down in the surrounding area to create a bridge over sections of the bog. Players can sequentially move the bridge along their path to avoid falling into the murky swamp.

After the first section, it is much easier to jump and glide across many of the sections if players prefer. They may alsobuild a vehicleto fly over the bog but should keep low to the ground to avoid being returned to the start by the fog above the area.

Players will find the described trees at the end of the path with about three Golden Apples on each tree. Once at least five have been collected, players can return to Korok Forest to trade with Damia.

The little Korok will excitedly give Link the pretty stone for the Golden Apples, allowing him to move and interact with it.

Interacting with the crystal will give instructions to return it to its place at the shrine. A beam of green light will then connect the crystal to its destination a short distance away. Players can transport the crystal to the shrine in any way they see fit, and bring the shrine quest to a close.
