According to some Doctor Slone audio logs available in-game, glyphs on the island indicate that an eclipse will happen soon, and she intends to charge the Apparatus and use it as a stellar projector. This eclipse could be an important part of the upcomingFortniteseason. Recently, content creator Sharshock received a picture of an eclipse with a blood moon on it, and he claims that this is thefirst Chapter 4 Season 4 teaser. The picture came with a note that said, “Thank you for the addition to my collection.” It was signed Kouji Datura, and “datura” is a flower that’s commonly known as the Moonflower.
It is possible that the picture and the note could be clues for a dark ecliptic theme coming toFortnite. None of the Battle Pass skins have been revealed, and Kouji Datura could be the name of one of the reward characters.
Fans started analyzing Sharshock’s tweet right away and coming up with plausible theories for what it could all mean. Many gamers pointed out that the picture of the eclipse resembled Ronin’s Crimson Crest back bling. Ronin was aChapter 3 Season 1 Battle Pass skin, and he is part of the Order of the Waning Moon set. His back bling and the necklace around his neck both look like the red blood moon that appears in the picture sent to Sharshock, and various players believe there could be a connection here.
