The trailer on Ubisoft’s official YouTube channel shows off the frantic and hectic madness ofMonopoly Madnessas players scramble around the map to make money, claim property, and sabotage other players. Straying from itsMonopolyroots,Monopoly Madnessfeatures afast-paced style ofMonopolywith a focus on action as players rush around the map in a race to beat other players to valuable properties and money drops. Instead of traditionalMonopolylocations like Park Place and Boardwalk, players will be competiting for properties like restaurants and city buildings with the option to demolish and remodel their properties.

Monopoly Madnessis one of the first games in the long-running board game franchise to stray from the standard turn-based formula. The game appears to follow in a similar style to chaoticparty games like Team 17’sOvercookedandMoving Outas players scramble across a large open board withMonopoly Madnessspinning the gameplay in a more competitive light.Monopoly Madnessis scheduled to release on December 9th of this year.
