It goes without saying that most players want to be comfortable whenever they’re enjoying whatever game they are currently playing, and one TikTok user shows they have taken this notion to the next level with their setup for enjoyingHogwarts Legacy. The latest excursion into the world ofHarry Potteralmost demands a comfortable setup to enjoy it, as players have plenty to do in and aroundthe grounds of Hogwarts. TikTok user Rachel Van Voris has taken this notion to heart with their setup, which appears to be an ideal setup for enjoying theHarry Potterfilms as well.
Hogwarts Legacyis the newest game set inside the Wizarding World ofHarry Potter, taking place roughly a century before the boy who lived would first wander the corridors of the famed wizarding school. Players take on the role of a new student to the school, coming in as a fifth year with a special handbook to aid them in their education on witchcraft and wizardry. However, the student’s arrival coincides with the discovery of an ancient magic that could tear the wizarding world apart, but only a few, including the student, can wield.

TikTok user Rachel Van Voris was among the slew of players who jumped into the game during its launch week, adding to thesuccess Warner Bros Games has seen. She shared a small look at what appears to be her home theater setup, which leans into the overall in-home theater experience which has become more popular in recent years. Voris' setup includes a fittingly large flatscreen TV mounted above a small fireplace and two reclining theater chairs inside an all-black room, along with a selection of snacks one would typically find at a movie theater’s concession stand.
The movie theater-inspired setup is especially fitting forHogwarts Legacyas the game borrows heavily from theHarry Potterfilms, especially in its visual presentation. Hogwarts itself appears to have been ripped right from any of the eight films, though some changes were made to have it fit with the game being set in the 1890s. Given this influence, it can be argued Voris playing the game in her theater could be for both comfort and to pull on those memories of watchingDaniel Radcliffeduring his tenure as Harry Potter at the movie theaters.
Voris wasn’t shy to share she wasn’t much of a gamer, saying in her post she “never really played a video game” before picking upHogwarts Legacy. However, her excitement for the game reflects a larger sentiment seen online fromHarry Potterfanswho were excited at the prospect of enjoying their own adventure in the wizarding world. A quick search across social media will find posts from other like-mindedHarry Potterfans who made the jump into the gaming, though perhaps not as comfortably as Voris.
Hogwarts Legacyis currently available for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, is scheduled to release on Aug 04, 2025, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and on July 31, 2025, for Nintendo Switch.
