AsThe Flashwraps up its run on the CW, there are a few questions about how many faces that have made appearances throughout the years might return for the final season. At the same time, at least three familiar faces are slated to appear in the last season.
Over the years,The Flashhas introduced several characters into the Arrowverse. Some have been regular returnees to the series, while others were on the CW network show for brief periods. At least three people from the massive guest star cast who have made appearances in past seasons have now been confirmed to return in season 9.

Entertainment Weeklyreported that Rick Cosnett, Matt Letscher, and Jessica Parker Kennedy are returning forThe Flashseason 9. Cosnett was one of the original stars ofThe Flash,as he played detective Eddie Thawne throughout the first season of the show before being killed off in the finale. Letscher also appeared early in the series as a version of Eobard Thawne, otherwise known as the Reverse Flash. Parker Kennedy is a more recent addition to the cast as the daughter of Barry Allen and Iris West Allen, who comes back to current times from the future.
All three actors and characters have been brought back in recent seasons as the show continues to play with alternate realities and time travel. Cosnett had been gone since season 1 but did make a few cameo appearances inThe Flashseason 8. Letsher’s most recent appearance was also last year, and this time he was a good version of Eobard Thawne, who helped Barry and his team fight off several villains.
Jessica Parker Kennedy has been a mainstay of the show since she first appeared as XS, a superhero from the distant future who travels back in time to visit the younger versions of her parents. She has had extensive appearances sincedebuting in the Arrowverse crossover"Crisis on Earth-X."
While three well-known characters and Stephen Amell’s Oliver Queen are returning forThe Flash’s final season, there is still one big question. Willformer series regular Carlos Valdes, a mainstay on the show for several seasons, return? The actor claims he doesn’t know if Vibe will return for one more fight against evil.
The Flashseason 9 debuts on The CW on February 8 at 8:00 pm ET.
