With a DLC release forThe Division 2set up for sometime this month, placed in aConey Island setting, the post-apocalyptic title may still have a bright future of continual updates ahead of it. To prep for it, the game currently has a massive discount on the Microsoft Store.

The Division 2, normally priced at $59.99 on the Microsoft Store, is currently on sale at$2.99 for Xbox One. This equates to a 95% discount and stands as one of the largest discounts that a mainline title has received on the platform. The timing of this sale is no coincidence, as the official Twitter account forThe Division 2indicated that there would be an announcement with a tweet published earlier today.

The trailer in the tweet isn’t all that revealing. The object in the trailer appears to be an orange-lit radar, which gives latitudinal and longitudinal coordinates. The color then shifts to red near the end of the teaser, followed by the text, “The hunt starts soon.” The world premiere for the announcement will be held on February 11 at 11:00 AM PST.

The teaser for the announcement could point to any number of things, though a prominent possibility would be that of aNew York Citysetting. This is where the original game took place and would give players another chance to explore the area in a new way. However,The Division 2players will only know for sure after tomorrow’s announcement.

Thus far, Episode 1 forThe Division 2gave players the opportunity to explore the outer parts of Washington D.C.The Division 2’s Episode 2 had players going through the Pentagon. While New York would be a bit of a jump, it would make sense given the setting of the first installment.

As for the sale, Xbox One owners previously hesitant due to the standard price would be wise to purchase the game now. As one ofthe best co-op games of 2019,The Division 2drastically improved upon the concepts laid out in the first game and remains one of 2019’s highlights.

The Division 2is currently available on Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Google Stadia.
