The clip includes comments fromThe Creatorwriter/director/producer Gareth Edwards as he talks about making the movie and the ideas he had for the project.

“Ideas come from lots of places,” Edwards says in the clip. “It just kept feeling like a Vietnam movie mixed with robotic sci-fi.” For those unfamiliar with the movie,The Creatoris set in 2070 after an A.I. has rocked Los Angeles with a nuclear explosion. This sees most of the world declare war on A.I. and the robots powered by it. Sergeant Joshua Taylor, portrayed byJohn David Washington, is sent to retrieve an A.I. “superweapon” that happens to be a robotic child with special powers.

One scene shows a battle between humans and robots being filmed, while another shows Sergeant Taylor running on a beach, calling out for his wife Maya.
