The first timeMarvel’s Midnight Sunsplayers step into the T.H.R.E.A.T. Room, they may be a little intimidated, but there are a few key tricks, facts, and methods to emerge victorious. After all, there is an achievement/trophy tied to it called T.H.R.E.A.T. Eliminated, and it requires players to effectively survive its horde-like approach witheachMarvel’s Midnight Suns character. The key word there is “survive.”
There are some tricks that the T.H.R.E.A.T. Room doesn’t tell players, but the most important one is how to get card plays refunded. It would otherwise be impossible if players tried to just throw out three attacks, given the number of enemies.Marvel’s Midnight Suns' T.H.R.E.A.T. Roomeffectively treats every attack as if it has the Quick ability, meaning every KO refunds a card play. The twist here is that heroes like Spider-Man may suffer when they are able to deal damage to a lot of enemies, but not significant damage.

The first round is also the toughest; should players be able to eliminate every enemy in round one, then rounds two and three are more or less guaranteed as long asMarvel’s Midnight Sunsplayers are consistent in their approach. One character means each hand is more predictable, and in some situations, one repeated card is all players need. Combat Items can help get those cards.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns: Cheesing The T.H.R.E.A.T. Room
Beyond the obvious, there are a couple of approaches may want to take in the THREAT Room, depending on which character is played. The Concealed ability, however, is by far the easiest to cheese with. The Hunter and Doctor Strange automatically get an ability with it equipped, and should players struggle with some characters, they can reroll card mods until they Concealed. This will eat up a lot ofcredits and essences inMarvel’s Midnight Sunsthough.
Effectively, players can target a weak enemy with a card that has Concealed, turn invisible, and no enemy will target them on their turn. IF players do not want to reroll, the Vial of Shadows combat item grants Concealed as well. Rinse, repeat, get the achievement. It should be noted thatGhost Rider’s Straight to Hell cardturns him into a portal, and it is effectively the same as Concealed.
Tanks inMarvel’s Midnight Sunsmay find it easier to get this done too. Characters like Captain Marvel and Captain America can build Block as they eliminate Soulless, and any enemies who do survive are going to have a hard time breaking through the Block. While heroes like Hulk are strong enough to eliminate these enemies, Midnight Suns cards go a long way too, but at a glance, here may be the easiest approaches to the T.H.R.E.A.T. ROOM FOR each character:
