Drawing on the hype fromSuper Smash Bros. Ultimate’s latest DLC character, Sephiroth, an animator fan named Peter (aka Sourcy on YouTube) recently uploaded a short clip of him replacing thefamousFinal FantasyvillainwithAnimal Crossing: New Horizon’s well-loved yellow canine Isabelle.

During the game’s victory ending screen, Isabelle turns to look at the players with a creepy smile on her face. Despite being engulfed by bright flames, Isabelle has foreboding shadows covering her eyes and the upper part of her face. AsSephiroth’s popular background musicplays on, she walks away with her hands behind her back, slowly disappearing into the fire. Plus, to make the clip look more realistic, Sourcy retainedSuper Smash Bros. Ultimate’s win screen elements, showingAnimal Crossing’s Villager clapping his hands at the winner.

With close to 840,000 views and 3,250 comments on YouTube, Sourcy mentioned on the description box that he only intended to share the video on this Twitter account (@SourceRabbit1). Due to high demand, however, he decided to upload it on his YouTube account beside his other original animated content forAnimal Crossing,My Little Pony, andTeam Fortress 2. He also asked viewers for suggestions on whichSSBUcharacter to animate next, with some recommending fan-favorites such asNintendo mainstayKirby, Steve, Pikachu, Wii Fit trainer, and more.
