Although Bethesda Softworks releasedFallout 4a number of years ago at this point, fans of the RPG continue to discover strange details about the game. OneFallout 4fan recently came across a Behemoth that got distracted mid-fight and started to walk away despite being shot.

Reddit user StrawberryTuxedo posted a video of their adventure of theBoston commonwealth inFallout 4several days ago in which they’re exploring a destroyed bus in the middle of a road. Near the rusting bus is a Behemoth that is initially angered by theFallout 4player but quickly forgets about what it’s being attacked by and turns away from StrawberryTuxedo. The fast altercation shows the effectiveness of buses as a protective covering and hiding spot in the open areas ofFallout 4that have powerful enemies that players wish to avoid as StrawberryTuxedo does.

StrawberryTuxedo’s clip begins with the player standing outside the bus on its left side as they fire multiple shots with a shotgun at an enormous Behemoth. As StrawberryTuxedo reloads their shotgun, the Behemoth runs to their last location, and they sprint into the smashed bus and return to shooting it while utilizing the protective shell as unbreakable armor. TheFallout 4playerswitches to the third-person perspective while the Behemoth moves to the side of the bus from the rear, but doesn’t stick around for long.

The Behemoth is shot from inside the bus a few more times as blood pours from the giant beast before StrawberryTuxedo realizes that the normally intimidating enemy has been pacified somehow. The two stare at each other for a bit before the Behemoth turns around and walks far enough away that the player could leave the bus if they wanted to, acting as if nothing had happened. AlthoughBehemoths inFallout 4usually continue their onslaught againstplayers until the conclusion of the battle, the bus in StrawberryTuxedo’s clip seemingly hid the player from view, eventually allowing them to escape.

StrawberryTuxedo has confirmed that they are usingFallout 4modsin this playthrough, and since mods are known to mess with some things, it may have impacted the aforementioned Behemoth. It’s currently unclear what prevented the Behemoth from maintaining its attack on StrawberryTuxedo, but it may have something to do with the bus and the Behemoth’s inability to move it or reach into it. SomeFallout 4 fans have lamented the fact that Behemoths are rendered so useless by buses since StrawberryTuxedo posted their video, while others pressed the player on which mods they use.

Fallout 4is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
