Starfieldhas released update 1.7.33, which should be rolling out to PC and Xbox players right now. Prior to its release, it was claimed thatStarfieldwould be the most-polished Bethesda game at launch. It seemsStarfieldhas mostly lived up to that promise, though that doesn’t mean it’s been a completely bug-free experience for fans.
While it may very well be true thatStarfieldhas fewer bugs than any other Bethesda game at launch, the game still has its fair share of technical mishaps. Luckily, Bethesda has already released updates forStarfieldto address some of these problems. The latest update forStarfieldfixes even more of the game’s lingering issues.

After downloading the latest update forStarfield, issues with characters wandering away from their proper locations should be fixed, as well as the issue where Star Stations were incorrectly labeled as a player-owned ship. Bethesda has also fixed an issue that allowed a vendor’s full inventory to be accessible. While Bethesda didn’t provide specifics, thisseemsto suggest thatStarfield’s puddle glitchmay have been fixed, but that will require further testing once fans have downloaded the update for themselves.
The newStarfieldupdate addresses issues with the game’s graphics, like blurry textures. A big fix in this update addressesStarfield’s scanner, which would start hitching after a certain point. Hopefully downloading the new update will mean that this problem is a thing of the past, andStarfieldplayers with a lot of hours in the game will once again be able to use their scanner without having to deal with the hitching issue. Other, unspecified stability and performance improvements have also been implemented as of the latest update, which should mean less crashing and freezes forStarfieldplayers.
And finally, the new update forStarfieldhas fixed a couple of problems with ships. Prior to the update,Starfieldshipshad an issue that would cause displayed items to disappear on mannequins, as well as a problem that would cause items stored in Razorleaf Storage Containers and Weapon Racks to disappear after commandeering another ship.
Starfieldplayers can expect Bethesda to issue more updates for the game in the future. Most of the updates will likely be bug fixes, though there’s always the chance that more substantial changes could come.Starfieldplayers have a lot of features they want to seeimplemented in the open world sci-fi RPG, but time will tell if those features are ever actually added to the game.
