The modding community got right to work whenMarvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredreleased to PC earlier this August. There have been mods to turn Spider-Man into The Punisher, mods to turn Spider-Man into CJ fromGrand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and even amod that lets players play as Uncle Ben’s Gravestone. Now, a new mod for the game allows players to replace the web-slinger with another popular Marvel character: Daredevil. The PC port ofMarvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredwasdeveloped in collaboration between original developer Insomniac Games and another PlayStation owned studio, Nixxies Software. PC versions of games are usually highly requested by fans for the ability to mod the game and make it a unique experience every time. While most mods are cosmetic or offer slight improvements to games, some can drastically change the experience of the game, like changing the combat ofSkyrimto be more likeElden Ring. While this new mod allows players to play as The Man Without Fear inMarvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, it doesn’t offer any substantial changes to the gameplay. Still, it is quite an impressive showcase of the mod community’s skills.RELATED:Hilarious Marvel’s Spider-Man Compilation Celebrates PS4 Mods Ahead of PC ReleaseThis new mod, created by user TheRealiceMage on NexusMods, allows players to just imagine what it would be like to play as Daredevil in a game likeMarvel’s Spider-Man.Of course, with this just being a cosmetic mod, players will still be throwing webs at enemies and web-slinging across skyscrapers in New York City as if they are playing as Spider-Man. According to the modder, this is the first custom model put into the game, while other ones, like being ableto play as famed comic book creator Stan Lee, were reskins of other costumes already in the game. Players wishing to find out how to install mods can head to NexusMods for details.

While this is a Daredevil fan’s dream come true in a lot of cases, it also brings up the question: when will we ever see a Daredevil game? Daredevil did not have an official appearance in the game, but acollectable business card inMarvel’s Spider-Manfeatured the name Matt Murdock, the man behind the Daredevil mask. Matt Murdock’s law office can also be found in the Hell’s Kitchen section of the map in the game.

Perhaps there is a chance that Daredevil will officially show up inMarvel’s Spider-Man 2,along with Miles Morales, Venom, and a lot of other big names. It remains to be seen if there will be any big gameplay-changing mods orwhat the sequel toMarvel’s Spider-Manmay change or add, so for now, fans will have to enjoy some awesome cosmetic changes and new suits.
