Essentially, the refining processtakes all raw materialsgathered by the player and furtherrefines them into more useful and advanced materialsthat can be used for crafting. This refers to materials likewood logs, ore, jute, and the like, and going to the Refinery allows all of that to be turned into something more complicated, like planks, ingots, and more.

This is not a process that takes place instantaneously. Having chosen the material to be refined, players will have toassign that particular process to a worker. At the start, there will only be a single worker available, but as yourise in Infamy and gain ranks, more slotswill be opened up.

Thetime required, as well as thecost in silver, will also be displayed, allowing players to know exactly how long it will take for the process to complete. Do note that the process isnot a one-to-one exchange, with advanced materials usually requiring several pieces of raw materials to make. Once the process begins, you are free to pursue other adventures until the next time you drop by to collect your refined items.
