It’s only a matter of time before the X-Men come to the MCU full force, especially after fans saw Patrick Stewart’s Professor X inDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of MadnessandKamala Khan was revealed to be a mutant inMs. Marvel. It’s not certain when that’ll occur, as there’s not much mention of the X-Men in Marvel’s current plans for the current and upcoming phases, but after that may very well be a possibility. However, Easter eggs are fun for a reason, as they have little reason to wait like the realities of producing and integrating the mutants have to.

She-Hulkfeatures one such Easter egg focused on the beloved mutant Wolverine. As many fans know, he’s as iconic as anyone under the X-Men banner, and he’ll likely be a leading figure when the X-Men do arrive.She-Hulk, on the other hand, tells of howBruce Banner’s cousin Jennifer Waltersgets exposed to his blood and, like her cousin, adopts a Hulking alter ego. As the series continues to release on Disney Plus, it’s hard to know how Walters' story will ultimately end up, but the latest episode saw her looking for and accepting a new job. This job search proved to be rich with Easter eggs.

AsShe-Hulk’s Walters looks for a job, fans can get a glimpse of her computer screen. There are a number of references that are easily identifiable, as there is a direct reference to Ant-Man, a webpage about Norse Mythology pertaining likely to Thor, and a reference to the iconic Avengers team. There’s even an ad for shoes based on Iron Man, and under that ad are two interesting “links.”

There is a link titled “Man fights with metal claws in bar brawl.” Getting into a bar fight is right up Wolverine’s alley (and interestingly enough, that seems to be the case for Logan in theonly Insomniac’sMarvel’s Wolverinetrailer). The metal claws clinch it as a reference to Wolverine, who is more or less confirmed to exist in the MCU now.

It should be noted that Easter eggs should often be seen as such and nothing more. While this would seem to hint at Wolverine coming to the MCU eventually, that was bound to happen anyway, and this may or may not be how they introduce him. Easter eggs are simple nods, and sometimes they can be really weird. At face value, one Easter egg would suggest thatFinal Fantasy’s Blitzball exists inStar Wars, after all. Still, any Easter egg referencing the X-Men is exciting for fans.

The second article acknowledges the events of theEternals, which has an odd place in the MCU. It’s one of the outliers of the current phase that introduced some interesting ideas, however seemingly unrelated to the grand scheme of things. It’s uncertain what theEternals’future will be like in the MCU, but at leastShe-Hulk’s Wolverine Easter egg is promising for the X-Men.
