Summary
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Indigo Disk is filled with a hefty amount of content for players to uncover, including some secrets that may not be obvious upon an initial playthrough. Aside from a handful of new and returning mons along with a new story set at Blueberry Academy, The Indigo Disk DLC forPokemon Scarlet and Violetcontains a lot of bonuses that players will have to travel off the beaten path to find. A major secret the DLC doesn’t clearly advertise is the existence of some hidden clothing players can obtain to expand their wardrobe with special pieces of gear unique to the expansion.
Clothing customization has been a very popular part of the past fewPokemongenerations, but many fans felt likePokemon Scarlet and Violet’s clothing optionswere a step back compared to previous games. Originally, players were only able to wear one of four school uniforms in the base game, with most of the customization options coming from accessories like shoes, gloves, and headgear. However, The Teal Mask and Indigo Disk DLCs have helped remedy this issue by including a variety of new clothing options for players to wear, and these secret clothing items are ones players won’t want to miss.

All Secret Clothing in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Indigo Disk DLC
Team Star Side Quest Clothing
The main source of The Indigo Disk’s secret clothing options comes from a side quest back at the player’s home academy that involves tutoring the formerTeam Star leadersin their studies. After finishing the main story of the DLC, players can find Team Star’s Giacomo and Eri in the lobby of Uva/Naranja Academy, who will ask them for their help. Finding the rest of the Team Star leaders and answering their questions correctly will result in Eri rewarding the player with the Team Star clothing set, allowing players to cosplay as one of Team Star’s grunts.
Atticus Emporium Clothing
After completing the Team Star tutoring side quest,Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Atticuswill appear at the marketplace in Porto Marinada to auction off some of his special custom clothing. He auctions these pieces of clothing off one at a time, and the bidding can be quite expensive with the starting bid being 100,000 Pokedollars. However, for players with the necessary cash, these pieces of gear are well worth the price since they reference characters from past games.
Players can obtain pieces of clothing like the Replica Aqua and Magma Suit Helmets, which are references toPokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, or the Leader Bag, which is the backpack worn byMarnie inPokemon Sword and Shield. There are also more obscure pieces of gear players can acquire from this auction, like the Replica Expansion Suit Helmet, which is a reference to the post-game Looker missions inPokemon X and Y, or the Replica Dragon Gloves, which reference the trainer Ryuki who serves as a potential Title Defense challenger inPokemon Sun and Moon. There is even a helmet that referencesPokemon Sword and Shield’s Ball Guy for players to obtain.
Special Coach Clothing
The final pieces of secret clothing players can find inPokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Indigo Disk DLC come from the Special Coaches players can invite to Blueberry Academy’s League Club. These Special Coaches include Gym Leaders, Elite Four members, and teachers from Paldea that players can trade or battle with to earn rewards. Defeating Ryme will earn players the Ghost Sneakers, defeating Clavell earns them the Clive Wig, defeating Jacq earns them the Hexagonal Glasses, and defeating Geeta earns them the Elite Gloves.
