This month’s Community Day event inPokemon GOis almost here with it starring the Unova region’s Water-type starter, Oshawott. Those who want to experience more from this event are able to purchase a ticket for event-exclusive special research tasks for $0.99 USD from the in-game store.
Pokemon GOplayers who buy the From Scalchops to Seamitars special research ticket will be able to complete a variety of research tasks in enchange for rewards. These tasks are available on September 19 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM in players' local times. Because of this, it’s important to complete this tasks quickly.

Players do not have to purchase this ticket in order to participate in theOshawott Community Day event. Oshawott’s shiny form, increased spawn rates, and Samurott being able to learn Hydro Cannon will be available to all players during the event.

Completing all of the first step’s tasks will reward players with 2,000 Stardust, another Oshawott encounter, and aRainy Lure Module. This will additionally allow players to move on to the next step in the special research tasks.
Dewott encounter
Evolve three Oshawott
Ten Pinap Berries
After these three tasks are completed, players will be additionally rewarded with 1,500 XP, another Oshawott encounter, andan Incense. There is only one step in the task series containing actual tasks left after this step’s completion.
Transfer Ten Pokemon
Fifteen Great Balls
This step’s completion will reward players with 2,500 XP, aRocket Radar, and fifteen Ultra Balls. Completing this steps allows players to move on to the final step, which is entirely made up of claiming the rest of the rewards.
Claim Reward!
3,500 XP
Once all of these rewards are claimed, players are able to claim the final rewards of this special research task series. These rewards are 3,000 Stardust, a Samurott encounter, and two Rare Candies. This mark’s the completion of the event’s tasks.
