It was easy to burn through HP or SP when exploring the Metaverse inPersona 5. SincePersona 5 Strikersabandons the turn-based combat from its predecessor, the Phantom Thieves need to have as much HP/SP as possible when infiltrating the Jails around Japan. Fans ofPersona 5will be familiar with the HP/SP-restoring items that could be found in vending machines or bought at stores. They’ll also remember that the more reliable HP/SP-restoring items could be cooked.

Persona 5 Strikersexpands Joker’s menu by adding more recipes than just Leblanc’s trademark coffee and curry. There are a total of19 recipesin-game and some are missable. WhileStrikersplayers could purchase items at the stores or using Sophia’s Shop, having a few meals and coffee can help the Phantom Thieves in a pinch.

Joker’s Kitchen Recipes

UnlikePersona 5, curry and coffee can be consumed during combat. This goes for the other recipes as well. Except for coffee, all meals restore health to all allies. Consuming a mealduring a Jail King or tough Shadow fightmay put the battle in the Phantom Thieves' favor.

Certain meals restore HP and grant a -kaja/Heat Riser. The meals unlocked through the main story (Shibuya, Kyoto) or bought in Sendai won’t have -kaja spell buffs/Heat Riser.

Since some recipes are missable, it’s important to always exploreevery shop in each city. Check every shop onthe first day, and every shop again on thelast day. Lastly, speak tothe other Phantom Thieves. Some recipesare locked behind character-specificPerona 5 StrikersRequests, and once the date is missed, they’re gone until the next run/NG+.
