Following in the footsteps of other Phantom Thieves,Persona 5 Royal’s Oracle is getting a MegaHouse Lucrea figure. The collectible figure line has released the majority of thePersona 5cast, and now Futaba Sakura is joining them.Futaba Sakura is one of the last members to join the Phantom Thieves inPersona 5andPersona 5 Royal, aiding the team as a tech-savvy andbrilliant hacker. She fills a unique role in the game, as while every other Phantom Thief can be played as directly, Oracle takes a back seat and fills an advisory role, and only steps into the fight to protect teammates or deliver a finishing blow.RELATED:Persona 5 Queen and Oracle Pop Up Parade Figures AnnouncedMegaHouse has now officially announced its plans to produce Oracle as a collectible figure, following in the footsteps of Fox, Noir, Joker, Crow, Violet, and Queen. At this time, a prototype for Oracle hasn’t been shown, with MegaHouse showcasing some of the existing designs and artwork for Oracle’s figure. Based on the artwork, Oracle will be hopping forward while peering though her goggles, which take the place of the more traditional masks of the otherPhantom Thieves of Hearts.
At this time, a price, size, and estimated delivery date for Oracle have yet to be announced. However, one can look to the otherPersona 5Lucrea figuresfor some hints here. The figures released so far have generally ranged from 9 to 10 inches in height, and have been made of a combination of PVC and ABS. While the figures are in static poses that can’t be manipulated, each one has been shipped with a removable mask, so fans can choose how to display them. Presumably, Oracle will receive the same treatment.
As far as cost goes, the other Phantom Thieves have generally landed just under $150, though if imported, additional costs may apply. These figures usually become available for pre-order, which is the best way to secure one at retail price, as resellers usually include a significant mark-up. Waiting for that pre-order window may take a while, though, as many months have typically passed between the announcement of the figures and the opening of the pre-orders.
With Oracle now on the way, the only Phantom Thieves left to receive the Lucrea treatment are Skull andPanther. It’s an interesting decision to release them in this order, as Skull and Panther join the team as the second and third members. Given the release schedule so far, it may be well into 2024 by the time Ryuji and Ann receive Lucrea figures, but givenPersona 5spent ten years in development, chances are fans are willing to wait.
Persona 5 Royalis available for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
