Zenyatta players inOverwatch 2can rejoice, as Blizzard Entertainment has made a very welcome change on the Omnic monk’s Cultist skin. While not the most popularOverwatch 2support hero compared to heavyweights such as Ana or Mercy, Zenyatta is still a force to be reckoned with in the right hands. With confirmation of theOverwatch 2campaign focusing onRamattra and Zenyatta’s complex relationship, it’s quite possible that his popularity will grow even more.

Although players have had their issues with the game’s monetization system, the actual hero skins andunlockable cosmetics inOverwatch 2easily carry on the legacy established by its predecessor. They are undoubtedly well-made, and the quality measures up to Blizzard’s high standards. That being said, there have been a few items that fell short during the transition from the firstOverwatchgame to its sequel, and one of these shortcomings was the Zenyatta Cultist hero skin.

It would seem that Blizzard Entertainment has finally fixed this particular skin inOverwatch 2, as the eyes on Zenyatta’s Cultist orbs are no longer static, and instead move the same way they did in the originalOverwatch. The credit for the discovery belongs to lek2003, who shared an informative video with the rest of theOverwatchcommunity on Reddit.

While the orbs are now suitably, players are also disappointed that Zenyatta’s meditation emote still hasn’t been fixed, showing the default yellow runes instead of the green ones. WithOverwatch 2getting rid of map pools, making bold balance changes with Season 3, as well as introducing small quality of life additions and fixes, the team is no doubt committed to ironing out the parts of the game that players have been frustrated with since its launch. However, despite the efforts made by Blizzard Entertainment, many fans also believe that the road ahead inOverwatch 2may be rocky and uncertain.

Namely,Season 3 inOverwatch 2launched without a new hero – a first for the game. While the gameplay is certainly engaging and the new map is a welcome addition to the game,Overwatch 2players are worried that the lack of a new addition to the roster will make it harder to stay engaged as the season progresses. One thing is a guarantee, however:Overwatch 2will always deliver on its cosmetic side, and Zenyatta’s Takoyaki outfit from Season 3 is a brilliant addition to his selection of skins.

Overwatch 2is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
