The first outing of this series on the Wii was a runaway success, with the game’s visuals still looking great to this day. As of right now, the future ofXenoblade Chroniclesis pretty bright and is constantly dishing out hit after hit.
6Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3
There are so manyDragon Ball Zgames out there, and not all of them are as great as they should be. However, most people agree that theBudokai Tenkaichifighting games are absolutely stellar in every way.
The third game in the series features the most improvements and is a blast to play through, with its iteration on the Wii also being quite welcomed by the majority of the fanbase. It helps that the cel-shaded visuals are a treat to enjoy and infinitely playable to this day.

Okamiis a game that didn’t really perform all that well commercially upon launch. It’s a shame since the title itself was fairly unique and featured great gameplay that fans looking for a different experience would’ve enjoyed.
Controlling Amaterasu and using his Celestial Brush to both solve puzzles and defeat enemies makes for a great time. The reason why this game has aged well is because of its amazing art style, combining both watercolors and cel shading to make for an amazing experience.
4Punch-Out!!
Punch-Out!!is another celebrated Nintendo series that has churned out hit after hit.Punch-Out!!on the Wii is the last mainline entry in the series to come out, and fans are pretty saddened by the fact that this series hasn’t been represented on a modern console to date.
That being said,Punch-Out!!on the Wii is a brilliant and tough gamethat will test a player’s reflexes to the very limit. It helps that the cartoonish art style looks extremely pleasant and is still a blast to play through even now.
3MadWorld
Just likeOkami,MadWorldis another artistic title that failed to perform well commercially. It’s a shame since the game’s black-and-white art style really helped its combat pop whenever the red shade of blood accompanied some brutal moves.

It was one of the few mature titles on the Wii, making it a gamble that didn’t really pay off in terms of sales. However,MadWorldhas become somewhat of a cult classic that many people go out of their way to play nowadays, meaning that it’s certainly had the impact that its creators wanted.
2No More Heroes
No More Heroesis one of the most bizarre and engaging titles on the Wii that players should definitely check out. The game genuinely feels like a fever dream at times, and that statement isn’t meant to be derogatory at all.
Suda51’s trademark eccentricities are on full display in this title, with Travis Touchdown being a pretty entertaining protagonist as well. As is the case with most of the games on this list, the game’s visuals have aged well because they’re cel-shaded and a peach to look at!
1Rayman Origins
It’s a shame that Ubisoft hasn’t released aRaymangame for quite some time, choosing to focus the bulk of their attention on big-budget AAA open-world experiences instead. After all, these great platformers are full to the brim with character, withRayman Originsbeing a great chapter in this series' legacy.
The beautiful and cartoonish graphics of this title were praised at the time and have aged quite well, as is to be expected from such an imaginative art style. With the gameplay being quite brilliant as well, it’s easy to see whyRayman Originswas an instant hit upon launch.
