The total number of newly revealed games in the popular survival-horror series is four. The names of these future titles areResident Evil Outrage, Biohazard Apocalypse, Resident Evil 4 Remake, andResident Evil Hank. The appearance of theRE4remake confirms longstanding rumors that it would be the next remake in the series. In addition to the multiple name drops, the leak has also revealed aResident Evil 8release window, demo, and battle royale multiplayer.

The leak reveals the rough timeframe Capcom plans to release the officially-unannounced games as well. The first on the schedule, due to release in Q4 2021, isResident Evil Outrage. The name sounds interesting, but is not indicative of anything in particular. The second release, the remake ofResident Evil 4, arrives in Q4 2022, although this one was basically confirmed whenLeon’s voice actor posted an image in mo-cap gear. Next up in Q3 2023 is what’s currently being titled asBiohazard Apocalypse.Biohazard, for those who don’t know, is the Japanese title for the series. This could mean that it’s either a working title or possibly something exclusive to Japan, something Capcom has done before.

The final game revealed in the schedule is titledResident Evil Hank, though the title is likely just a codename, so the game could really be about anything, and is still years away from its planned release window of Q4 2024.

Players should take all of this new info with a grain of salt, as Capcom has yet to confirm anything. Should everything turn out to be real, however, it should be a big couple of years for the survival-horror franchise. Many of Capcom’s other IP were also subject to involuntary reveals, includingStreet Fighter, Dragon’s Dogma, and more. There’s no current indication if the leak will cause Capcom to shift or otherwise change its upcoming release schedule. Players will want to stay tuned as this huge story continues to unfold.
