According to Ries, the development studios will be focused on support post-launch, but there’s plenty for fans to look forward to, like the addition of new player skins, new mount skins, and monthly challenges. The latter is called Lost Legends and will see players get new challenges/limited-time game modes about once a month. At least that cadence is the current plan. The first Lost Legends challenge is called Portal Pile, which according to Ries' description, sounds a lot like a horde mode.

Because of this set-up, this game mode is a little quicker thanMinecraft Legends' standard gameplay.

It’s more or less you defending against waves of Piglin invasions. It’s actually a lot of fun, and you get to upgrade things really quickly. Because if you successfully complete some, they’ll give you more resources and more and more…. Then, if you successfully complete so many waves, you’ll get a free skin you can use.

Beyond that, Ries also confirmed that Mojang is working with content creators since they are utilizingMinecraft’s Bedrock editionforLegends. This will afford them the opportunity to “create some cool stuff,” but that’s all Ries could say regarding that. He expects that the studio will be able to share more some time after launch. Between challenges, new skins, and things related to content creators, it definitely seems like theMinecraft Legendscommunity could be in for a real treat.

Perhaps the best part of this isMinecraft Legends' inclusion on Xbox Game Pass. While it will be available on a number of platforms, including PlayStation and Switch, Xbox players can check out this action-strategy game and see if It’s something they gel with. As a community-oriented co-op and competitive multiplayer game, it could easily rise to the top of Game Pass' charts.
