Marvel’s Spider-Man 2isn’t a difficult game, nor is it a particularly long one. Players will be able to unlock the platinum trophy in around 20 hours or so with the help of a goodMarvel’s Spider-Man 2Trophy Guide, making it one of the shortestPlayStation-exclusive titlesin recent memory.
That’s not to say that the game isn’t still highly enjoyable though, nor that unlocking the platinum trophy is going to be simple. There are a lot of collectibles and objectives that need to be tracked down in order to fully completeMarvel’s Spider-Man 2, so completionists are still going to have their work cut out for them.

Use Symbiote Abilities 25 times during Symbiote Surge
Players gain access to Symbiote Surge after unlockingthe Symbiote Suitand will be able to trigger it by pressing L3 and R3 while the Symbiote Surge meter is full. They’ll lose access to it for a while as part of the main story but will get it back again before the end of the game.
Defeat 100 enemies with Evolved Venom abilities
Unlocked by defeating 100 enemies withMiles' Evolved Venom Abilities(the ones with the blue icons). The best place to do this is in Mysteriums or Symbiote Nests or during the Mister Negative sections of the game.
Armed and Dangerous
Defeat 100 enemies with Spider Arm abilities
Unlocked by defeating 100 enemies withPeter’s Spider Arm Abilities(the ones with the blue icons). The best place to do this is in Mysteriums or Symbiote Nests.
Bronze
Solve the mystery of the Spider-Bots' origin
Unlocked by findingall 42 Spider-Bots inMarvel’s Spider-Man 2and then heading to the marked alleyway in the southeastern part of the Financial District.
Equip a suit style
Players can unlock suit styles by holding the Square button on an already unlocked suit that has multiple styles. After doing so, they’ll need to equip one of the newly unlocked styles with X and then back out of the menu.
Stealth takedown 25 enemies in stealth from the Web Line
Players can set up a Web Line by holding L2 and then pressing Triangle. To perform stealth takedowns, they’ll need to position themselves above an enemy and then press either the Square or Triangle button.
Hang Ten
Perform 30 Air Tricks in a row without touching the ground
Unlocked byperforming 30 tricks in a rowwhile swinging or gliding around the city.
Overdrive
As Miles, use Reverse Flux to pull 6 or more enemies together simultaneously
After unlocking and equipping the Flux ability, players will need to hold L1 and then press Circle while in an area with a lot of enemies. Mysteriums and Symbiote Nests are a good place to do this, as too are the game’s Mister Negative sections.
Round the bases at the Big Apple Ballers Stadium
Unlocked byrunning around all four basesat the baseball stadium in Downtown Brooklyn.
Just Let Go
As Miles, find the science trophy Miles and Phin won together
Soar
Using only your Web Wings, glide from the Financial District to Astoria (Wind Tunnels are okay!)
Players canunlock the Soar Trophyby gliding from the Financial District to Astoria without touching the ground or using webbing.
Attempt and fail a trick before “landing” on the ground
Players can perform tricks by pressing the Square button together with a direction while swinging or gliding. To unlock Splat, they’ll simply need to crash into the ground midway through a trick.
Help Howard
Players will be able tofind the Howard FNSM Request in the Financial Districtand will unlock the A New Adventure Trophy upon its completion.
Collect a total of 10,000 Tech Parts
Players canget Tech Partsby completing side activities and crimes or opening up the blue chests that can be found scattered throughout the city.
Complete all Tech Stashes
Unlocked by finding all nine Prowler Stashes and then speaking with Uncle Aaron at Miles' apartment block.
Antidote
Defeat a Symbiote that is under the effect of Anti-Venom status
Unlocked by using any Anti-Venom ability while wearing the Anti-Venom suit, which is unlocked as part of the main story.
