A hilarious glitch inSkyrimhas shown a player’s head getting completely stuck in a door.Skyrimis famous for its crazy glitches, with many being found over the years, and this recent discovery definitely ranks among the strangest.

While Bethesda games are notorious for their abundance of bugs, any like this are harmless and only add to the charm of the game. With the scale of the games that the company creates, some degree of bugginess is to be expected, as the developer can’t catch everything pre-release. One recentSkyrimglitch even shows the courier speaking underwater, backing up his reputation as the most dedicated NPC in the game. To some degree, Bethesda deserves credit for not instantly patching the funnier bugs. It seems the developer understands the value of glitches that actually make players laugh, enhancing the experience rather than detracting from it. It’s a big part of the reason the game continues to be spoken about all these years after its release.

The post from Redditor MiracetteNytten shows the Dragonborn’s head being completely stuck in a door. Oddly, the player still has control over the character, and the camera itself moves with their inputs. However, the player model remains fully trapped in the door, and squirms as the gamer attempts to move and free themselves. The whole situation is so comical that it’s easy to forget what a perilous situation this is forSkyrim’s protagonist.

The other players in the thread seemed just as confused as the original poster, with no one being able to offer up an actual explanation for the issue. One user did attribute the bug to theAnniversary EditionofSkyrim, so it’s possible that this is a newer bug if this is to be believed. At the very least, it seems that the player is able to simply leave the room to fix the bug, so it’s unlikely that this will cause them to lose any progress, which can be an extremely frustrating element of many of these types of bugs that appear.

WithThe Elder Scrolls 6still seemingly years from release, there’s a small part of many players that are looking forward to the funny bugs the game will have to offer. While game-breaking glitches are never fun, there’s definitely an enjoyable element to seeing a player get their head stuck in a door every once in a while. For now, players must exercise patience and continue to enjoy the abundance of glitches thatSkyrimcontinues to offer up.
