Ever since his release inGenshin Impact1.0, Venti has had two reruns; one in version 1.4 and another inGenshin Impact2.6. In each version, the Anemo Archon loses more and more of his viability. While the game itself expands with new areas and enemies, Venti has a hard time keeping up with his ability.

The Anemo Archon is still one of the best characters inGenshin Impact, but unlike before, players have to consider a lot of things before pulling for Venti. Here are some examples.
Is Venti Worth It In Genshin Impact?
As ofGenshin Impact2.6, sadly, Venti is not worth much in the meta. However, while Venti isn’t as big of a powerhouse as he used to be, players might still want to consider the following things.
Venti’s Strengths And Weaknesses
Venti is great in many aspects of the game while underwhelming in a few others. Here are his strengths and weaknesses:
Weaknesses:
Venti Is Greatly Nerfed
Whenhe was first featured inGenshin Impact1.0, Venti was easily one of the best characters in the game. He can easily crowd control almost every enemy, trivializing even the hardest challenges. Unfortunately, the developers noticed this and decided to reduce his viability.
Now, Venti can still crowd control smaller enemies but some recent monsters are unaffected by his wind vortex.

Venti Is Easy To Build
Just like anyGenshin Impactcharacter,Venti obviously has his own best builds. However, the Anemo Archon is completely functional even with random equipment. The majority of his power comes from the crowd control he provides, so even if players choose to ignore his damage-dealing capabilities, Venti will still prove to perform.
Venti Is Conditional In Spiral Abyss
Because there are a lot of enemies Venti can’t CC, his viability inGenshin ImpactSpiral Abyss heavily depends on the enemy lineup. The Anemo Archon is an easy option if the chamber contains small enemies, but it’s best to refrain from using him against heavy ones.
Venti Has Mediocre Constellations
When comparing Venti’s to otherGenshin Impact’s Constellations, it’s easy to see how underwhelming it is. His first Constellation is especially useless, as Travelers should refrain from using his Normal Attack entirely. Meanwhile, Venti’s C2, C4, and C6 offer useful effects, but they’re still not worth spending on.
So if players already have C0 Venti, it’s better to save Primogems and not pull for his Constellations.

Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
