Genshin Impacthas posted a preview of all the events that will be a part of the upcoming update 3.6. The game has a very tight update schedule with new waves of content arriving approximately every six weeks. Over the last couple of months, HoYoverse has established a pattern of adding two characters per update.
Genshin Impact’s recent Special Program event already confirmed that the new update will introduce two new Dendro characters, Baizhu and Kaveh. Players who want to add them to their roster will unfortunately have to wait for a couple of weeks since they are scheduled for the second banner cycle.

The game’s official Twitter account has shared a small preview that reveals most of the content that will arrive inGenshin Impactversion 3.6. According to the post, the maintenance period will begin at 06:00 (UTC+8) and will last around 5 hours. As per usual, after the update goes live, players will receive 300 Primogems as compensation for the maintenance. The first thing mentioned in the tweet is the addition of two brand-new new regions, Gavireh Lajavard and Realm of Farakhkert. Both of these regions will be connected to the existing Sumeru desert, and they are expected to be the last expansion for the Dendro nation, at least for the foreseeable future.
Baizhu is confirmed to be a flexible Dendro supportwho can deal significant amounts of damage while providing one of the best shields in the game at the same time. Kaveh is a popular architect from Sumeru responsible for creating various landmarks in the Dendro nation, including the famous Palace of Alcazarzaray. He has an interesting playstyle that revolves around using the mysterious gadget hidden in his briefcase.
Even though there is a lot of hype around Baizhu’s arrival, many fans claim that they will probably skip his banner to pull for the Dendro Archon Nahida who is scheduled for the first part of the update. At the moment, she’s widely consideredthe best Dendro character in the gamethanks to a complex kit that can adapt to almost any team composition that needs her type of elemental damage.
Genshin Impactupdate 3.6 will also include the second story quest for Nahida which could be one of the final canon events in the Sumeru region. Nahida won’t be the only limited five-star character in the first banner phase as HoYoverse confirmed that she will bejoined by the Hydro user Nilou.
