A newGenshin Impactleak has revealed more information about a new character that will arrive in the upcoming months. Since the addition of the Sumeru region, HoYoverse has been updating the playable roster with every new update. The previous update 3.6 introduced two new characters, Baizhu and Kaveh, both of whom are using the Dendro element.The ongoingGenshin Impactupdate 3.7 has introduced another Dendro character, the sword user Kirara who’s part of the four-star lineup of the current banner cycle. This means that 3.8 probably won’t feature any new characters, and it will serve as a filler update before Fontaine’s official arrival. A lot of fans claim that they have been saving a lot of their Primogems for the upcoming Fontaine region which will introduce a lot of new characters. The five-star unit is rumored to be the long-awaited Lyney who has been featured in one of the game’s earliest promotional videos back in 2020. Lyney will apparently be a Pyro bow user with strong main DPS capabilities.He will be joined by his sister Lynette who’s rumored to have a lower four-star rarity, and she will be using the Anemo element. These two are not the only rumored characters as another set of leaks revealed anew character named Wriothesleywho is expected to have a five-star rarity.The most anticipated character in Fontaine is probably the Hydro Archon who serves as the nation’s main protector. Even though this character is currently known as Focalors, credible leakers have been hinting that thenew Archon is actually named Furina.
