AGenshin Impactfan celebrates his birthday with a cake modeled after Cyno, one of the new Sumeru characters recently added to the popular open-world action RPG. The birthday cake features Cyno key art with dark blue frosting and decorations to match theGenshin Impactcharacter’s attire.
Genshin Impactplayer and Reddit user u/ClayWasHer3 revealed a well-designed Cyno birthday cake made by his mother. The user celebrates his 15th birthday with a dark blue cake that complements the design of Cyno and his Electro powers.Cyno was introduced inGenshin Impactversion 3.1alongside the Sumeru desert, a vast region containing many relics of Sumeru’s ancient history. Upon further inspection, the birthday cake appears to pay homage to the update as well.

A large decoration displaying Cyno artwork stands tall on the cake with golden powder beneath it, mimicking the appearance of the dry Sumeru desert. Further, dark blue decorative pieces are scattered the top of the cake to match the ground shifting near Cyno’s feet. Cyno works well as a powerful attacker just likeGenshin Impact’sRaiden Shogun, and the artwork on top of the cake accurately depicts his potential as an Electro character.
The Electro-inspired blue frosting covers the cake on all sides, and the user’s name “Fallen” is written with white frosting. The white frosting is also used around the base of the Cyno cake to add the finishing touch. The user reveals that his in-gameGenshin Impactcharacter, who is commonly referred to as “the Traveler” by developer HoYoverse, also uses his real name.
The Cyno birthday cake is a stunning display of cake designing skills with incredible attention to detail. Although Cyno’s actual in-game attire has purple hues to match the Electro vision, the dark blue frosting works well enough to capture the proper aesthetic. The birthday cake’s design could also work with anotherGenshin Impactversion 3.1character, Candace. Although Candace is a Hydro character, her design features the same dark blue and purple hues that Cyno bore.
Fallen’s birthday came just days after HoYoverse launchedGenshin Impactversion 3.2, the game’s newest update. The update continues where the main story left off in version 3.1 and introduced two new playable characters. One of these new characters is Nahida, the vessel of Lesser Lord Kusanali and the current Dendro Archon of Sumeru.
Genshin Impactis available now for Android, iOS, PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. A Nintendo Switch version is in development with no confirmed release date.
