Epic Games is putting together another massiveFortnitecrossover event. Massive in the sense of what it will be crossing over with, as the event itself will be rather straightforward. Players will be able to watch an exclusive scene reveal from the upcomingStar Warsfilm, but only if they’re in a match at the right time.
The event was confirmed via both an in-game poster near the Risky Reels location as well as a new movie intro-sequence on the big screen itself. Both confirm the same details, thatFortniteis partnering withStar Wars: The Rise of Skywalkerfor an exclusive, live screen premiere forFortniteplayers. Not only that, but the posters also tease the involvement of the film’s director,J.J. Abrams. Exactly how Abrams will be involved in the event is unclear, but he’ll likely provide an audio introduction or something similar.
