The Game AwardsOrchestra flutist Pedro Eustache aka “Flute Guy” took to his Twitter account publicly to thank new fans after he went viral during the orchestra’s performance. Cameras cut to him multiple times during the act, playing a different instrument than he was before. Fans became enraptured by his enthusiasm and the variety of flutes he played during the orchestra’s medley of songs fromgames nominated for Game of the Year.

But sometimes, The Game Awards has the ability to produce one special moment or person that the community latches onto. That person became Flute Guy to the viewers, but he’s a musician with an amazing resume.

Flute Soloist Pedro Eustache became the community darling during The Game Awards Orchestra’s final medley for thenominees of Game of the Yearbecause of the infectious energy he put into his role in the orchestra that stood out among the rest of his peers. His background includes proficiency with numerous woodwind instruments as he showed during the performance, going through at least 4 different flute variations. He was born in Venezuela and has worked with Hans Zimmer as part of the famous composer’s live show,Hans Zimmer Live,The World of Hans Zimmer, andGame of Thrones-Live Orchestra Experience. He’s worked with other world-renowned musicians and composers like Sir John Williams, Simon Bolivar, Sir Paul McCartney, and many more. He’s also been a member of the orchestras that have done scores for movies likeCoco,Pirates of the Caribbean 3, 4, and 5,The Village, and up to 150 other properties in TV, movies, and games.

Viewers found his name and Twitter page soon afterThe Game AwardsOrchestra’s performance and became praising Mr. Pedro’s energy during the performance. He has now acknowledged his sudden popularity and has thanked fans for all the kind comments they have left him since in a short video posted to his Twitter page and a caption in English, Spanish, and French. His “Thank You” post has already garnered almost 40,000 likes in a few hours.

He has his own website that fully details his biography, credits, and a link to his single “One” out now on Spotify. Geoff Keighley is holding a musical production in June 2023 at the Hollywood Bowl called “Game Awards 10-Year Celebration” and has already said that Pedro Eustache will be a part of that orchestra.
