Responding to a Twitter employee who listed out theGTAgames that they have not played (which apparently includes all of them), Musk said, “Tried, but didn’t like doing crime. GTA5 required shooting police officers in the opening scene. Just couldn’t do it.” TheGrand Theft Autogames have been hugely controversialfor decades, and so Musk is far from the first person to take issue with the franchise’s content.
Beyond the story missions that have players shooting cops, wreaking havoc in the open world will also get the attention of law enforcement.Grand Theft Autoplayers can try evading the cops, but oftentimes they will have to kill them to survive their crime spree. Killing cops is basically unavoidable inGTAand so it’s understandable that some people might not be comfortable playing the games.

It’s unclear if Musk will tryGTA 6when it comes out despite this.
