The Season Journey is the primary thing that guides players throughout Seasonal content inDiablo 4.The Season Journeyis essentially a large checklist in seven parts, called Chapters, each with their own unique objectives for players to complete. These challenges range from taking down World Bosses to collecting Herbs out in the world, and as the Chapters go on, the objectives become more and more difficult.

By completing Chapters in the Season Journey, players canget a number of rewards, including brand-new Aspects, Battle Pass Favor, and endgame materials. Plan ahead and read through all Chapter objectives inDiablo 4Season 1 listed below to get a sense of which activities you can go for and which ones you want to avoid in pursuit of Season 1 completion.
Players don’t have to finish every single objective in a Chapter to complete it. For most Chapters, this requirement is about two or three less than the total number of objectives, meaning players can avoid the challenges they don’t feel like taking on.
Chapter 1 Rewards and Objectives
Thefirst Chapter in the Seasonal Journeyhas a total of nine objectives for players to complete. In order to earn the Completion Reward for this Chapter, and move on to Chapter 2, players must complete at least seven of these objectives. Each objective rewards a Smaller Favor, which progresses players' Battle Pass a little bit.

Salvage 10 items at the Blacksmith
Chapter 2 Rewards and Objectives
The second Chapter in the Season Journey has a total of 11 objectives for players to complete. In order to earn the Chapter 2 Reward and start on Chapter 3, players must complete at least nine of these objectives. Each objective rewards a Smaller Favor, whichprogresses players' Battle Pass a little bit.
Get to Level 25
Collect 15 Demon Hearts from Cellars and Demon-type enemies
Change appearance once at the Wardrobe
Discover 10 Waypoints
Spit and Polish
Upgrade 2 items one time at the Blacksmith or the Jeweler
Chapter 3 Rewards and Objectives
The third Season Journey Chapter in the Season Journey has a total of 13 objectives to complete. In order to complete Chapter 3 and earn the Completion Rewards, players must check off at least 10 of these objectives. Each objective rewards a Smaller Favor, which progresses players' Battle Pass a little bit.

Collect 5 Scattered Prisms from Treasure Goblins and World Bosses
Risk and Reward
Buy 5 Purveyor of Curiosity items
Champion of the Lost
Unlock 4 Aspects in the Codex of Power
Complete 10 Whisper quests
Craft 5 Elixirs at the Alchemist
Imprint an Aspect at the Occultist
Buy the Moderate Healing Potion upgrade at the Alchemist
Steel from Iron
Upgrade two items to two-star rank at the Blacksmith or Jeweler
Chapter 4 Rewards and Objectives
The fourth Season Journey Chapter has a total of 12 objectives for players to check off. to get the Chapter Reward and move on to Chapter 5 (Slayer), players must complete at least nine of these objectives.Each objective rewardsa regular Favor, which progresses players' Battle Pass a decent amount.

Slayer – Chapter 5 Rewards and Objectives
In Chapter Five, called Slayer in-game, players have a total of 11 objectives that they can complete. To continue to the next Chapter – Champion – only nine of these objectives have to be completed. Each objective rewards a regular Favor, which progresses players' Battle Pass a decent amount.
Open 1 Tortured Gift chest in a Helltide event
Craft 2 Nightmare Dungeon sigils at the Occultist
Kill 1 player in a PvP zone
Open 1 Tortured Gift of Mysteries during a Helltide event
Scourge of the Malignant
Complete 15 Malignant Tunnels
Lingering Wrath
Defeat the Echo of Varshan boss, unique to Season 1’s campaign
Unlock 15 Paragon Board nodes
Restored Glory
Upgrade two items to four-star rank at the Blacksmith or Jeweler
Slayer Chapter Completion Rewards
Champion – Chapter 6 Rewards and Objectives
The sixth Chapter of the Season Journey, styled as Champion, has a total of 11 objectives for players to take on. to complete the Champion Chapter, get its Chapter Rewards, and move onto the final Season Journey Chapter, players must check off at least nine of these objectives. Each objective rewards a regular Favor, which progresses players' Battle Pass a decent amount.
Collect 5,000 Shards of Hatred in PvP zones
Defeat the Echo of Varshan boss on World Tier 3
Ancestral Artisan
Upgrade three items to five-star rank at the Blacksmith or Jeweler
Collect 1,000 Cinders during Helltide events
Imprint 15 Aspects at the Occultist from Legendary items
Get to Level 75
Champion Chapter Completion Rewards
Destroyer – Chapter 7 Rewards and Objectives
The seventh and final Season Journey Chapter is the Destroyer Chapter, which comes with a mere eight total objectives for players to complete. To get the final Chapter reward, players must complete at least six of these eight objectives, butnone of them are particularly easy. Each objective rewards a regular Favor, which progresses players' Battle Pass a decent amount.

Complete a Nightmare Dungeon that is at least Rank 43
