AlthoughCall of Duty: Warzoneplayers are currently dealing with somemajor glitches with its Season 6 gunson top of the usual cheaters and gameplay bugs, combatants in the battle royale are still able to pull off some remarkable feats without using exploits. In one shocking instance, for example, a single player was able to take out an entire squad with only one extremely fortunate shot.

WhileCall of Duty: Warzone’s current gameplay balance makessniper rifles, like the new SP-R 208 Marksman Rifleincredibly powerful, both the gamer in question and the unfortunate team came forward to confirm that it was not a physics issue, but a rather lucky kill. Upon firing at the other group, which was taking cover around a group of trees, theCall of Duty: Warzoneplayer triggered an explosion that immediately killed all four squad members. Although such a feat might seem impossible, one of the fallen players came forward in the replies to explain how this happened. After some initial confusion, the player AtriGoXD reviewed his footage and realized that MegasHvalur’s bullet had detonated the munition box he threw on the ground moments before. Acknowledging how irregular the whole situation was, thedead soldier told his killer that one of his inexperienced teammates actuallyreported the incident for cheating. In another comment, AtriGoXD offered his own perspective in-game for proof.

Despite the tree blocking some of the player’s targets, players confirmed that the munition box’s explosion animation is more visible when they play the clip in slow motion. While several users expressed their admiration for the quad kill without the other players counting as collateral deaths, others shared their own tips for completing group kills. One response recommended killingWarzonesquads in vehicles, which can take two to six shots to detonate. Some users complained about the sniper rifles' inconsistencies, sharing stories of their own deaths despite making solid hits.

Despite the many issues that Infinity Ward and Activision need topatch beforeCall of Duty: Modern WarfareSeason 7, players can undoubtedly still appreciate the open-ended nature of some of the gameplay. Without these memorable uses of the game’s mechanics, bothWarzoneand the largerCall of Dutyfranchise would be struggling to stand out from a crowd of competitors.
