The highly-anticipatedCall of DutySeason 2 Reloaded update is now available to download forCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2andCall of Duty Warzone 2. The latest wave ofCall of DutyDLC started in February and introduced a new Ashika Island Battle Royale map and the Multiplayer Ranked Play. Another round of content was then announced earlier this month, and with it came a cryptic hint that the infamous Shredder ofTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtleswould be the latestCall of Dutycrossover character.
Sure enough, it was later confirmed that a new Shredder operator skin would be featured in the upcomingCall of DutySeason 2 Reloaded DLCas part of a new Tracer Pack Operator Bundle, and that players would even be able to unleash powerful ninjitsu techniques against their opponents. Season 2 Reloaded is also introducing a new Himmelmatt Expo map for 6v6 multiplayer matches, a Raid mission that tasks players with searching for a lost warhead, and the Tempus Torrent Marksman Rifle among other rewards. The wait for these new perks and unlockables is now over, asCall of DutySeason 2 Reloaded is now live.

According to the patch notes on theofficialCall of Dutywebsite, Season 2 Reloaded will also introduce a special Saint Patrick’s Day event, a new Party Finder feature that can help players gather teammates for a Raid, and several bug fixes and weapon rebalances to make matches run smoother. PC users will now be able to select stereo or surround sound audio outputs and manually disable or recalibrate the Gyro controller function. Lastly, an Inverted Flash accessibility setting lets players alter the flash effect on the flashbang tactical grenade from white to black if they feel discomfort with the former.
Call of Duty’s new Season 2 Reloaded contentcomes at a time of excitement and uncertainty for the long-running military FPS franchise, as it is currently caught in the center of Microsoft’s landmark acquisition of parent company Activision Blizzard. Nonetheless, Activision Blizzard is still pressing forward with its ongoing support forCall of Duty, and is even allowing players to dive intoModern Warfare 2’s flagship multiplayer for free during a special event later this month.
