Whenever anyone makes a list of the best PS4 exclusive games, they would probably placeBloodbornenear the top of the list. Sony’s first-party lineup was lacking in the console’s first year, as many titles were launching to mixed reviews.Bloodbornebroke this trend in 2015, and many fans still consider it to be From Software’s best games.

Nostalgia-driven demakes have gained popularity in recent years, and a fan similarly released aPSX-style version ofBloodborne, which launched earlier this year for PC via itch.io. TheBloodbornedemake comes with support for gamepads, and it reportedly took around 13 months of development. The same developer is now teasing a new spin-off based onBloodbornein an entirely different genre.

Lilith Walther, the creator of theBloodborne demake, uploaded a new video on her YouTube channel teasingBloodborne Kart. The video opens with the default playable character from the game walking towards what seems like a castle. It then reveals a motorbike, and the wordsBloodborne Kartappear on top of a checkered flag. The video mentions that the game will release whenever it’s ready and then shows a clip of theBloodbornehunter revving the motorcycle.

The hilarious video feels like a love letter to fans, with a special mention to how the overly energetic narrator shouts the game’s name and how the FromSoftware logo is replaced by Fan Software. Lilith Walther had also released a gameplay trailer from a supposedBloodbornekart racing game as an April fool’s joke last year.

Fans have been jokingly asking Sony to release a kart racing game set in theBloodborneuniverse, knowing that it would probably never happen. Sony has not even released a sequel toBloodborne, but FromSoftware has been busy with other projects, and the developer may no longer be interested in making exclusive games. Judging byElden Ring’s success on all platforms, Sony may need to release apossibleBloodbornesequelon PC if they want From Software to be involved. As Sony owns theBloodborne IP, nothing is stopping the company from partnering up with a different developer for a new game in the franchise.

As of today,Bloodborneis only available on PS4. The frame rate and inconsistent frame-pacing were among the top complaints from the PS4 version, and so fans have been asking for a remaster or a simple port for years now. There have been reports ofBloodbornecoming to PC and PS5, although no announcement has been made.
