6Rupturing Blade

2~9 Damage

Whilst theRupturing Bladedoes not feature any notable effects, that does not mean it is without claim to a great Piercing damage inBaldur’s Gate 3. On its own, it can be a competent weapon, but considering it has 4 weapon actions, including Searing Blood, it proves itself as a bounty. Searing Blood can deal fire damage to opponents, but it could cause some Slashing damage tobackfire into the player.

5Twist of Fortune

A gold-encrusted Morningstar is bound to hurt, especially when it’s provided with Piercing damage. What’s interesting about the Blood Money effect that grants additional Piercing damage is that the damage increases per 300 gold that the target has.

However, thegold will be consumedduring the attack. What helps the Twist of Fortune is the fact that they get double the chance to actually attack, so hopefully there are fewer misses this time around.

4The Watcher’s Guide

1~8 Damage

True Strike is a lovely addition to this spear weapon, as it means that players will have an Advantage on Attack Rolls for 2 turns. Additionally, having a Piercing spear is always a bonus thanks to its reach capabilities. Pair that with an effect that means that if players miss they will have more chance in their next turn to successfully hit, then players are in for a good time, even when bad luck is on the player’s side.

3Shortsword of First Blood

2~14 Damage

This uncommon shortsword is what players are going to want if they initiate combat and decide to poke their enemies before they even have a chance to react. The Shortsword of First Blood provides apotentially devastating bonus of Piercing damage, but only to enemies that have not yet lost any hit points, meaning it can only really come in handy at the beginning of a fight.

2Crimson Mischief

5~16 Damage

The weapon of none other thanthe twisted Orin, theCrimson Mischiefis a brilliant Shortsword of the Legendary rarity. Whilst dealing a moderate amount of Piercing damage, it is enhanced by the extra damage properties of Necrotic.

Whether players use it as an Off Hand or Main Hand, there are bound to be bonuses to Piercing damage, paired with the default effect that grants extra damage to enemies with 50% or less health.
