The player in question goes by the username washue on Reddit, and they have shared multiple art posts where they combineAnimal CrossingVillagers with popular shows and movies. For example, washue recently showcased someAnimal Crossingart collections based onEncantoandTurning Red, and both sets of Villagers turned out to be incredible. They went above and beyond with theirStranger Thingsartwork, though, as well over a dozen designs can be seen that depitct the younger and older versions of the characters.

ThisStranger ThingsandAnimal Crossingcrossover art can be viewedhere, and there are numerous designs to appreciate. Some of the standouts in the original lineup are Eleven and Dustin, with the former’s angry glare and the latter’s cheerful expression matching the attitudes of the characters from the show. A deer and frog villager respectively, they are accompanied by Lucas the horse, Mike the bird, and Will the Mouse. Steve makes for a good dog Villager, while Jonathan suits a wolf and Nancy looks good as a goat. Hopper is a perfect choice for a bear, while Joyce works as a rabbit.
Other Villagers include Max as a fox-like wolf that resembles Audie, Robin as a cat, and Murray as a koala. The Season 4 additions are real show stealers, with the fan favoriteEddie Mudsonlooking like a devil. Vecna looks terrific, too, with the show’s horrifying villain boasting some gruesome skin and making for a perfect octopus Villager. The artist even included variants of Robin and Steve from the ice cream parlor and Will the Wise, showing their commitment to celebrating the show.
With other characters fromStranger Thingslike Billy and Papa not getting Villagers, perhaps washue could share more awesome designs inspired by the series. Regardless, they knocked it out of the park with these concepts, and many Redditors praised them for their hard work. Alongside 9,000 upvotes, several commenters were quick to call out the Villagers they would want on their ownAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsislands, with Eddie being an especially popular choice.
